17th Annual SAEM Western Regional Meeting
The 2014 Western Regional Meeting of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) will be presented Mar. 14-15, 2014, by UC Irvine Health Department of Emergency Medicine, part of UC Irvine School of Medicine. The event will include Clinical Pathologic Case (CPC) presentations, a new speaker’s forum, junior and senior moderators, a residency forum and a medical student track.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Peter Sokolove, chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UC San Francisco, who will present “Public Policy and Advocacy in Emergency Medicine.”
Location
The event will be held at the Student Center on the UC Irvine campus. The Fairmont Hotel, Newport Beach, is offering a special rate of $129 per night. Shuttle service will be provided to the campus.
The deadline for the discounted hotel rate is Feb. 21.
Abstracts
Abstract submissions are open through the SAEM submission site until Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.
